My wife has been putting off making a certain phone call for months now, and it has been seriously irritating me. Today I threatened to take away her american express card until she made the call... I can hear her dialing the phone as I type this.

I may have lied though... I think I'm still going to take it away.

I literally couldn't, for the following reason: The bank would not let me obtain a bank card for my wife without speaking to my wife. Ergo, she had to call. I got her the number when I went into the bank to try to get her a new bank card. When she spends money from the checking account, it is a little here and a little there...when she uses her amex, it is just like a $500 surprise at the end of the month. Easier to spend a little here and there.
