Temporary crit padding duration

If armor is temporarily crit padded and has 'an incredible amount of charges remaining', can anyone give me an approximate idea of how long that will last?

Also, for armor that is partial coverage only (i.e. metal breastplate), I still get the padding on all body parts right?

Mine lasted about 18 months but that was playing a post-cap pure. I got swatted, batted around, air lifted and stuff occasionally in OTF.

You'll get the padding all over.
