I am interviewing for a management position for them on Thursday. Anyone have any insight to their operations or anything?

I know its a longshot, but figured I'd ask.

Website if you want to know is www.trusecure.com

That's a pretty impressive gig, what position are you interviewing for? They are a pretty major player in the Network/Data security field.

Good luck with your interview SHM. I know you won't make any of the mistakes these fools made:

Vice Presidents and personnel directors of the one hundred largest corporations were asked to describe their most unusual experience interviewing prospective employees.

* A job applicant challenged the interviewer to an arm wrestle.
* Interviewee wore a Walkman, explaining that she could listen to the interviewer and the music at the same time.
* Candidate fell and broke arm during interview.
* Candidate announced she hadn't had lunch and proceeded to eat a hamburger and french fries in the interviewers office.
* Candidate explained that her long-term goal was to replace the interviewer.
* Balding Candidate excused himself and returned to the office a few minutes later wearing a headpiece.
* Applicant said if he was hired he would demonstrate his loyalty by having the corporate logo tattooed on his forearm.
* Applicant interrupted interview to phone her therapist for advice on how to answer specific interview questions.
* Candidate brought large dog to interview.
* Applicant refused to sit down and insisted on being interviewed standing up.
* Candidate dozed off during interview.

The employers were also asked to list the "most unusual" questions that have been asked by job candidates.

* "What is it that you people do at this company?"
* "What is the company motto?"
* "Why aren't you in a more interesting business?"
* "Why do you want references?"
* "Do I have to dress for the next interview?"
* "I know this is off the subject, but will you marry me?"
* "Will the company move my rock collection from California to Maryland?"
* "Does your health insurance cover pets?"
* "Does your company have a policy regarding concealed weapons?"

Again I reference you to Family Guy. This particular episode has a scene where Peter is being interviewed for a new job.

"So, where do you see yourself in 5 years?"

(Peter notices a picture of interviewer, his son, and a really hot woman)

"Don't say doing your wife, don't say doing your wife, don't say doing your wife..."

"Umm, doing your...son...?

Contract and Reporting manager, I'm interviewing with two VP's, and two directors (for 3 freaking hours - no pressure there). Yeah, I'm starting to get a little nervous.

Glad to hear they are a big firm though :)

Yeah, they publish a monthy network security mag that I get. They also provide IDS, firewall, and network and data security services as well as consulting for major companies, and the government. At least I believe they have DoD contracts. Either that or they were feeding me a bunch if crap to get my business.

Anyway, good luck!!

Being one of those guys sitting at the table is so much fun. It's nice staring down at someone from your big chair while they sit in a little wooden chair and sweat!

So, today at 3 I go to the firing squad. I'm even wearing a tie :(

Any last minute suggestions? I intend on asking if they mind if I smoke while they question me.

You look hot in a tie.

Try hitting on the men that interview you?

So so, think they were looking more for someone with a marketing background, not so much analytics like me.
