There's a blight this last day or so of cursed gems, boxes, wands, and other items being found around the landing. Be warned. In the wilds, in the locksmith, about town, etc.. Think twice.

Edit: Somebody post the CS. I haven't encountered one o these, just been hearin plenty o complaints.

Sloot is working great to avoid picking up cursed stuff from the ground. I was using townsmith earlier tonight to open boxes at the locksmith and ended up with cursed chests in my hand... So, like the picture states: can't get pure potions because my hands are full!

Edit: scratch that, figured out a way to get rid of one so I could uncurse the other. As much of a pain in the ass it is, clever griefing...

I could be wrong as its been awhile since I tested it but cant you go to your locker and be able to remove the item from your hand?

If you commit a crime, when you're arrested the constable will fine you extra, but also remove the curse.

As a curiosity, what's the cheapest crime?

Speaking of curses.. I tried to use Limb Disruption on an empath that asked me to try and blow her arm off to drop a cursed item, but when I cast at her, my CS was in the negative numbers--CS was about 100 lower than it should have been.

What mechanic causes that? Is it a low-level empath protection? She said she had 1109, 202, 103 and 101 on.

Yes, that's what I did... I remember this after running around looking for a cleric for 45 minutes.

I've rarely in 10 years had something cursed to my hand. I haven't played a rogue that actually spent the t/p on pickpocketing.

Spell aiming is the only thinig I can think of, if you have none and you limb disrupt, your CS completely sucks.

Yeah it is spell aiming and I'm pretty sure only critters drop items when they lose a limb
