Computer probs

A friend of mine is having probs with posting here and on some other sites, neither of us are very technical so Im gonna post the prob here and see if anyone can work out what went wrong


Her: I cant post to the boards or anything where I have to type in information
Her: though this works
Her: and GS works
GS3Chica: did you do anything different?
Her: but things like the PC boards or the offical boards or even stupid MSN accounts
Her: I networked my computer
Her: basically, I can access pages fine
Her: I can get onto the reply pages
Her: and can put in the information that is needed
GS3Chica: Thats so strange
Her: when I do that, however, it hangs for ages then either goes to a "page unavailable" error message or back to the reply page
GS3Chica: I wish I knew enough to help!
her: I cant even preview

If anyone can help, let me know and I can pass on the info, or she can read it here! :)

Sounds like she may not have her network set up correctly. Has she gone through the diagnostics provided with her networking card?

Sounds like she's not accepting cookies, or the network is refusing them.

Oddly enough... it might be a DNS issue. For some strange reason my router wouldnt let me post on these boards unless i staticly set my DNS servers on my PC. which is strange as hell...

Clear your cookies and refresh. My roomate has the same problems with forms and stuff.
