View Full Version : Didn't Shattered Have a Free Trial?

Posted this in the leveling thread, but it'll probably get lost in there pretty quick.

It's not about the money but more my curiosity, but didn't Shattered have a 30 day trial period? I know when I first signed up via SGE on the first day I got a box saying, "Click OK to begin your 30 day trial" or something to that extent, but I got charged anyway. I asked billing about it and they said there's no trial period for Shattered.

Did anyone else get one of those 30 day trial messages, or am I just losing my mind?

I did not get one of those messages. I wish I had. I would have tried it longer than 2 minutes.

I did for both my accts. Although for some reason I expected to be billed anyway.

Plat has a free trial right now which I thought gave you a free account in Shat.

One account said I'd be charged, the other said it was free. No kidding.

might have been free month for a new account, or re-opening old account, but you get charged for the whole thing if you upgrade to shattered

I didn't ask for a credit or anything, just asked about the charge, but they gave me a credit anyway.


I didn't realize you could add Shattered through the SGE. You are not supposed to be able to do so. We will get that corrected.

I added a $5 credit onto both of your accounts.

He's the one that handled my issues when I signed up for my free trial to see if I wanted to come back. He's good people.

I think I got double billed... I have yet to ask because I got plenty money. jk I'll check when my bill comes, it asked if I was sure that I wanted to be charged $40 or w/e for my basic + shattered, and I said yes.
