Any good places for a 26 sorc? Trying to avoid spiders/things that don't have bodies..

how is your sorc trained? i used focused maelstrom on cyclopses. it took a while but usually 1 cast was enough to kill

Looking back at logs, I didn't seem to have any problem with most stuff around the Landing... zombies, tree spirits, warfarers, tree vipers, centaurs, monastic liches, spectral monks. Maelstrom is great around those levels.

I just don't really want to sit and wait for the maelstrom, especially with tree spirits. I have to keep up the 703 or I get boiled and die. :(
Centaurs.. What level? I don't like being kicked but yeah...
I've never hunted liches, so I wouldn't know about them..
What TD-ish are the monks?

I was using strictly Maelstrom (with Phase to get crits) on Liches and monks at that level, I think. They're 25-26, but they do spell up a bit (so high 80s to low 100s). If you're not down with Maelstrom, that will limit your options more. Tree spirits are a little more tricksy, true, but for other creatures you're not in so much danger while you're waiting for their brains to be zapped out.
Centaurs are only 23, so probably less worth it. It's not the kicking so much as the company they keep (the occasional not-so-neighborly roa'ter).

If you don't mind the slight amount of under-hunting, krolvin warfarers (level 25) can be fun. If you're trained right, you should be perfectly find avoiding their blood-burst and such spells, though you'll want to be careful of their e-waving.

i hunted hooded figures with focused maelstrom. just make you have the dispel messaging highlighted, bc death on the moon can be painful.

Hey, so, I went and explored the Monastery. Liches and all that.. To get in you need to swim, right? I guess I should put some points into swimming..hah.

15 minimum, so they say. Tough when ~25 is one of the times that sorcerers are most hurting for TPs.
However, you could always grab some swimming and a pocketful of gold rings and just set them all to the MC. Then fix your skills back before the month is over.
I tried the monastery the other day. Got my ass handed to me. Perhaps I'll start after another level or so. Then on to pookas. Then what, I dunno yet.

Yeah, monastery is little difficult. I'm at reivers using 710, it's a cakewalk.

Any of you have a good way to use 710 in a script and not waste a ton of mana in the process, and not hang the script? I've been debating how to actually do this, and coming up blank. My best idea is to push the critter and the tempest's ids into an array, and compare against that, but even that seems to be a little complicated all things considered. Seems like a real mountain of a script to use multiple focused maelstroms considering critters wandering off. If any of you have any ideas on how to manage that, I'm all ears. If you have an idea of something that might work, run it by me and maybe 2 minds will be better than 1.
