You glance at your back-sling. Superbly crated from rugged ebony leather, the back-sling is designed to support two crossed weapons. To secure its dangerous contents, double-bladed frogs are cut to rest on each shoulder for clasping over the axe's sharp edges. Below each frog is a length of curled leather sporting two strong leather cord loops, one at each end, for holding the haft against the wearer's back. Each of the frogs' cover flaps bears a Mandis Crystal shard, their pale veins highlighting the dull grey crystals.

I seem to remember that this type can't hold the larger ones, which is why I had to buy the backworn type that holds only one (runestaff/polearm).
