Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Riches does not mean, having a great amount of property, but riches is self-contentment."

Narrated 'Aisha:
The most beloved action to Allah's Apostle was that whose doer did it continuously and regularly.

Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and receive good news because one's good deeds will not make him enter Paradise." They asked, "Even you, O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "Even I, unless and until Allah bestows His pardon and Mercy on me."

Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd:
Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him."

Your wives are a tilth for you, so go into your tilth when you like, and do good beforehand for yourselves.
-- Holy Qu'ran, Sura ii, 223

When you meet the unbelievers, strike off their heads; then when you have made wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives.
-- Holy Qu'ran, Sura xlvii.4

don't forget this gem.. no grass in the field? play ball anyway!

The Quran in Sura 65:1, 4 says:

65:1 O Prophet, when you [and the believers] divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed waiting—period and count the waiting—period accurately . . . 4 And if you are in doubt about those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, (you should know that) their waiting period is three months, and the same applies to those who have not menstruated as yet. As for pregnant women, their period ends when they have delivered their burden. (Maududi, vol. 5, pp. 599 and 617, emphasis added)

I wrote my own book. It's 300 pages. Except, when you open it, it has one sentence and the rest of the pages are blank. The only sentence: "Respect others as much as you respect yourself." BAM!
(Yes, I really did this, hardcover and everything. I'm crazy like that)

I can make some more. I even wrote my own reviews on the back cover.

"Better than anything I ever read." ~Jesus
"This book fucking rocks!!!" ~FSM
"You didn't put my picture in here? You're OK by me." ~Mohammad
"ZZZZZZZ" ~Buddha

Can't remember the rest of them, I gave my brother the book cause he's an asshole.

So how do you reconcile the contradiction here?

I find the Abrahamic religions intriguing, especially Sunni Islam.

You, on the other hand, IorakeWarhammer-guy, ...not so much. You post wack-o. Coming from me, that is a bad sign :(

Sufi Islam is fun, you should look into it. There is alot of dancing, and tamborines and happy laughing and lack of Jihad going on. Really night and day to what most people see in the news.

what noone has a translation of a saying that involves strapping bombs to oneself, blowing up innocent people, your family getting paid by whackjobs, and you getting a fast track to paradise?

Let those who fight in the cause of God who barter the life of this world for that which is to come; for whoever fights on God's path, whether he is killed or triumphs, We will give him a handsome reward.

How does one equate blowing up the weekly market to fighting for god exactly? Were the cantelopes heretical or something?
