Pau Gasol's flops make the Italian football team look like the hardiest bunch of guys ever.

If you discount the throwaway FTs at the end of the game, what were the numbers on FTs? I know at one point it was 34-14 LA, and there were bullshit calls eveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerywhere, on both sides of the ball.

It is a bizarre series so far. Gasol and Bynum are killing inside, yet Rondo pulls down what seemed like 39 rebounds? Kobe Bryant's dumb fouls have been going on since the Thunder series and it's not like he's a hotheaded rookie anymore, what's his deal? Tony Allen is still getting playing time? Kendrick Perkins is getting double-teamed ever? There was a sequence yesterday when after a series of switches the Lakers had Artest defended by Perkins and Bynum defended by Ray Allen... and gave the ball to Artest?(?!?) There was a period yesterday when the Celtics had Robinson, Rondo, Allen, Davis, and Garnett's depressing corpse on the floor, which is mind-boggling enough on its own, but Jackson doesn't immediately call 10 straight post-ups for Odom or Gasol?

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see either team win in 5. I really want to see the Celtics win before Garnett retires, but that's looking like it could be announced in the next hour.

I think we can give Gasol a break on his not-that-frequent flops and other assorted theater for the officials. Blame the refs for calling it or the system for making them susceptible to it. (Speaking of, what on earth did they see on that called-out-on-Gasol-but-clearly-on-Garnett replay?) It's one thing when Kobe stabs Ginobili in the eye on a flop, it's quite another when Gasol throws the ball in the air on every single drive.

I played Ray Allen when I was playing AAU ball, and yeah, he made it rain right in my face with 3s. He was one of the coaches. That said, Fuck Boston.

Easiest $50 of the post season so far. Who didn't think the Lakers would cover 6.5?

Too bad I'm not a degenerate I'd have went the maximum with my guy. Of course then Kobe would've thrown the game just to spite me.

Poor, poor Boston sports fans. The Celtics had a chance to win the championship tonight and they got crushed. This wasn't as epic of a failure as the Bruins, but we all know Kobe and his Lakers will not lose this epic and rare game 7 Thursday.

No Boston championships this year! You still have the Patriots, but they're not a Boston only team and I doubt they're going to the Super Bowl.
