Speaking of which, shattered really hasn't drained the population at all. About 170 in shattered currently and 370 in prime.

I left maybe 3-4 years ago. It was going down, but it was still in the 700-800 range during prime time.

Most of the die hard RPers have stuck around and there's still quite a lot of people to interact with and have a great time. This, coming from a guy that hasn't RP'd in years.

There's also less cockmongering dickmittens, by and large, so if your thrust for coming back is RP then you're probably better off. Even if it's not, you're better off with less people in hunting grounds to get in the way of your power leveling. However, if you want to lord over people with your epeen, then you're better off with something else.

I'd be nice if, y'know, Simutronics gave a shit about raising the population. They should really introduce some kind of basic, free-play to get people that have quit for years to come back and at least try out the changes.

Say, letting people play up to Lv10-15 for free. The whole "30 days free, we'll charge your card afterwards" trial doesn't seem to really do the trick. Plus, it's hard to argue from any perspective that Simu's pricing makes any kind of sense for fostering pop. growth, rather than milking the hardcores, which are all that's left at this point.

Anyway, the landing is still pretty populated. Icemule has a few people around at primetime.. haven't been to Teras in a long time.

Am I the only one that prefers a maximum of 6 people in any room? That's really my sweet spot. As someone mentioned in the other thread--if you find a few cool people to play with you'll never think about how many people are online. I think Gemstone is better now than anytime in the last 12 years.

After looking at Insodus's previous posts I have decided that he is suffering from a lack of focus.

You have apparently quit/returned, purchased/sold characters several times.

All the while continuing to post on this board which shows you have some mediocre interest in Gemstone.

My advice for you would be to quit being the panzy you have been for your entire life, grow some balls, and sign up for the game with a level 0 character and play it through to cap.

Then, if your still not happy, you can quit playing and quit posting here.
