Lich not working?

I've had Lich for a few days and this is what happens every time I try and run a repos command:

>;repos list
--- Lich: repository active.
Contacting the Lich server... if it's busy, this will take awhile...

Then nothing ever happens.

also, problems like this:

>;chat
--- Lich: unable to locate `c>;chat'! If you're sure it exists, copy it to your Lich directory.


Also, nothing happens when I run the lich.exe application... is that normal?

I think you have the wrong version of lich. Get the latest version from lichproject.org

Okay so I installed the newest Ruby and Lich, but something is fucked up now.

Lich was unable to fully add itself to the registry and now I'm also unable to remove it from the registry. It still starts up when I run the game, but it says it can't communicate with the Lich server.

Is there a way to revert back to a clean slate with all this and start fresh?

I'm not sure any of that makes any sense. What is the actual error message when it says it can't connect to the server? Is it the same as your first post? What makes you think it was unable to fully add itself to the registry?

I think maybe you didn't uninstall Shaelun's version of Lich, but I don't have much to go on.

Reinstall the Simutronics launcher.
