It IS a load of fun in a free form, no rules enviroment. It was a lot of fun to swear, the GM interaction was off the hook, and it was fun learning how to do things again. No question.

But, on the downside, the entire word "genre" and the history of the world got thrown out the window and its going to take a long time to settle down into some form of normalacy, and by then, the high levels will have the loot and levels.

I'll probably come back on a lark when I need to blow off steam in what really is a giant sandbox with orcs and vv'rael (and Godzilla!) :)

Well, I posted here to begin with because I wasn't 100% sure Khariz was Madmountain. Joining you really didn't seem like him, so I wanted to confirm before I started giving him a hard time that he might not deserve. This is the appropriate thread for confirming identities. If you don't think its like me you knew post adolecent only in prime. I was such a dick in prime that I was banned like 5 times, and had to shape up to not get banned again. I went good guy, joined the Northern Fury and became helpful. Much of this was due to me growing up in real life and not feeling the need to grief againt the rules.

I sold Mad in prime and thought I had moved on from gs period. Then shattered came along. I intend to extort people with Mordechai. My current play style is more akin to the fun I had 15 years ago when I fist started playing. It is fun all over again for me.

I am sorry that I am a jerk and act differently than you expected me to, but this is shattered. I intend to make the most of the no rules structure. Plus, people may not believe this but the extortion works. Without giving out any details that Mord would not approve of, let's just say that we nake a ton of silvers and there are many many people on our protected list.

This, for me, is fun. Sorry. All you have to do to avoid it is pay up.

I do think this shows the discrepancy with people's ideas of shattered. Some are here for afk scripting, some for ganking, and some for whatever other goals they'd want to accomplish in a new instance.

Quite frankly, shattered is what you make it out to be. If people don't like it then they need to move away from it or find a way to control the cult.
