Left 4 Dead and Mass Effect but you could just play that on PC, of course.

If you haven't gone there on another platform yet, Bioshock and Bioshock 2.
Also, if you like racing, try Blur.

Put down AC1 and just skip to AC2. The first one is ridiculously repetitive.
Resident Evil5
Left 4 Dead.
Bad Company 2 (I heard some good things)
Bioshock
Gears
Call of Duty: MW
Other, non FPS games:
Mass Effect 1 & 2, DragonAge (Just avoid FF13 and pick these up)
Batman Arkham Asylum
Burnout Paradise
Fable 2
Sports:
FIFA 10
NHL 09

NHL 10 is superior if you ask me, a lot less glitch goals. That's the only sports game I play, of course.

Everyone's been creaming themselves over Red Dead Redemption in another thread. That might be a safe bet.

Honestly, I got bored with it. Good game, but it didn't hold my interest as much as I thought it would. I never played the online portion of the game, though. That's probably fun for those that enjoy that type of play.

Wouldn't surprise me. I just haven't played 10 yet, so I didn't want to speak for it. Glad to hear it's less buggy though :)

Gears of War 1 is still my favorite game on the xbox.
I've been enjoying the shit out of MLB 2k10. The My Player mode is pretty cool. I am a reliver for the Atlanta Braves and my name, of course, is Kenny Powers.

Methais officially wins this thread.
Bayonetta - Tried a demo for PS3 it sucked pretty bad, IMHO
Not sure what options GameFly would bring to the table..
FFXIII would be for final-fantasy nostalgia purposes, but I heard terrible things about that one..
dragon age, i heard that was a decent RPG.. also Lost Oddessy
Im thinking about picking up Deus Ex: Invisible War..
I own a Mac computer only, so the 360 opens up a lot of PC-exclusive titles I couldn't get on Mac.

Fallout New Vegas
Fallout 3 + any expansions
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion + any expansions
Perfect Dark Zero (i remember playing this at a friend's.. pretty fun game)
Bioshock 1 & 2
Mass Effect*1 & 2

there must be other stuff out there too, but I assume you see a pattern here: I like most rpgs, or FPS-type games with RPG elements..

Red-Dead Redemption does not appear to be a game I'd be into, but it's a wild-west theme which is turning me off.. I'm not into cowboys..

Also, I played Red-Dead Redemption when it was called Grand Theft Auto....
Rockstar is a one-trick pony, IMO..
Just Cause 2 is a fun free roaming game as is Prototype (I'd recommend Prototype first).

Dead Space is pretty awesome, you should look into it. You can build up all of your character's weapons in a variety of ways, your suit(Health, damage protection), your tools(stasis module, zero G air supply), etc. Good story, too.
Mass Effect 2's combat plays a lot like gears, including the cover system. The big difference are your biotic and tech powers. MA2 ranks at probably the top 3 best games i've ever played. I would start with that, honestly.

FF13 sucks. It's boring. VERY boring. Get Lost Odyssey instead.
Mass Effect is good.
I thoroughly enjoyed Fallout 3. The expansions are awesome.
Oblivion has a lot of play time.
Left for Dead 2 is better than the first.
I own Assassin's Creed 2. Heard it's better than the first but haven't had a chance to play it.
IMO Gamefly is a waste of money unless you like waiting forever for popular/good games to be released. May as well buy them used/new online or through a trade store.
My best friend is raving about Splinter Cell. Give that a go.
