Hey, I have been looking at some of the lore about various critters in Elanthia but unfortunatly I haven't been able to find much at all. The official bestiary is basically useless, and there is not much information about a lot of the other critters in any of the official history docs. In particular I am looking for any info on the Vvrael (what are they, where did they come from, etc), the Horned Cabal, or the Shan.

Any websites you folks could recommend that give a bit more info than the lack of anything on the official GS sight?

The Vvrael first appeared as part of the Terate quest that led to the discovery of the rift. They remain in the rift in three forms: witches, warlocks and destroyers. I'm sure there is a good accounting of that quest somewhere. Check the old story telling logs that the mentors did in River's Rest years ago. I think the subject of that quest was coverd in one of those.

The Horned Cabal I'm pretty sure you can find a good accounting of in the official documentation on the website. The Horned Cabal are part of "official" GS history, and have never appeared to PCs.

Didn't they do something with the Cabal in Plat recently?

Don't the Shan evolve into a PC race in Dragonrealms? Maybe their documentation would give you some insight.
