level 80 hunting grounds

Any suggestions where a level 80 bow-specced Ranger should hunt for best learning. I am in the EN now, but over hunting in OTF that much is not very effective. Like, not at all.

Have you tried the Aqueducts in OTF? That would only be up-hunting by a few levels.

Stick to the Market Road ithzir and griffins. They hate arrows iirc.
If you're too low level hit rift with spikethorn and arrows. Just beware there're a few critters up there who're immune.

wow. bro, you need to come to Wehnimers. First of all, you will continue to get easy labyrinth tasks for heirlooms, etc. I still get lesser minotaur tasks and they are barely past 70, and I am level 79. minotaurs/magus are around 73-80 range I believe. so that's a good one especially when you get tasks to run a kiddie back because it's close to town if you know your way around the labyrinth

secondly, the bowels of Thanatoph. a dangerous area, a fun area, a little above our heads right now. I get tasks for some of the lower level creatures mostly, which I can hunt easily by myself with no spells assuming I am careful. if I get a jarl or one of the critters that is level 88 or so, I just drop the task. Stone skin, so I'm not sure how effective arrows will be - but it's worth a shot. Illoke are a little softer than the krynches and elementals have tons of HP. but again if you kill 7-8 things you'll be fried anyway.

it's a lot of fun in Wehn too. I play Deron so feel free to hit me up on aim at nejaeden if you want to hunt and I can show you around the labyrinth which you could hunt exclusively until around 85 until the exp would diminish too much to make it worthwhile.

and by the way, my AG is set at the toughest setting. so if you set it easy you could get way more labyrinth tasks.

oh and they wear brig and robes in there so arrows will DOMINATE
