I would like to retract my previous statement.. Since posting this I actually had good times in game with Xolean (It does pain me to say that RawR!) and Welfie has gotten way more militant lesbian angry..
The player(s) of Welfidia (Mtnhooligan here) seems bipolar or just angry that her character dies all the time.. Sometimes she's happy to be saved, but mostly she's ungrateful and decays and bitches that no one ever tries to save her..
I've been hunting in the bowels for a couple of months now, and I figure it's common knowledge that you might not get saved there even during peak hours, because it's just plain dangerous and there's not always a capped rescuer hanging out in the landing. That's how everyone sees it right? If I die there and don't have any friends local, I usually just go AFK and hope that by chance I'm rezzed in 15 minutes. If i decay, oh well. I knew the risk.
Nothing major happened prompting me to post this... other than seeing her in TSC briefly and being reminded of a few experiences over the last few months. I know there are some good welfidia stories out there. Please share!
High Lady Welfidia just arrived.
You laugh at Welfidia!
You sit down.
(OOC) Welfidia's player whispers, "What's so funny?"
(OOC) Welfidia's player whispers, "Really. what is so terribly assuming?"
(OOC) You quietly whisper to Welfidia, "Just pushing your buttons cranky."
(OOC) You quietly whisper to Welfidia, "Always so hostile."
(OOC) Welfidia's player whispers, "Go push somebody elses. Or find something better to do. Seriously."
ha ha ha. Mmhmm. And congrats on pwning the bowels now, really chugging along.

[Town Square, West]
Here in the midst of the town stretches the cobblestoned main bazaar, its lamplit lanes abuzz with traders and vendors hawking their wares at any hour of the day or night. Groups of citizens, discussing the day's events or preparing for nighttime hunts, gather around the doors of the merchants whose shops border the square. The gilded but peeling stone facade of the First Elanith Bank dominates this side of the square. You also see a tiny kitten.

[Town Square Central]
This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see the Ftor disk, the Ceacee disk, the earth brown Flizwik disk, a cup of red apple chamomile tea, a large acorn, a tincture of tkaro, some stone benches with some stuff on it and an herbal remedy donation bin.
Also here: Ftor, Ceacee, Aureliano who is sitting, Evelith, Enlove who is sitting, Apprentice Flizwik who is sitting, Tesqua who is sitting, Felantra who is sitting, Monshara who is sitting, Geirson who is sitting, Ijada, Lord Lasan

[Wehnimer's, Outside Gate]
Citizens, merchants and assorted dregs of society jostle against you before the great wooden gates of Wehnimer's Landing. Harried guards and militiamen try to keep the chaos to a minimum, but it is hard to keep track of those entering, let alone leaving, this large trading post. A dirt path encircling the wooden palisade of the town leads east and southwest. Nailed prominently to the wooden wall beside the gate is a sign you really should read. You also see a Wayside Inn.

Apparently I'm a GM now...I wish I had known this sooner. I'd have been giving the hookup in shattered
[Private]-Welfidia: "i've got a call into a lawyer. He's gonna get back to me in the morning"
[PrivateTo]-Welfidia: "lawyer? for what"
[Private]-Welfidia: "today was my day to game, and I've been in the GM cell since 10:30 last night"
[PrivateTo]-Welfidia: "eh, don't bother with a lawyer, you'd just be wastin your money"
[Private]-Welfidia: "i'm gonna get a years worth of game time back from simu. It's not a waste. This is cruel, unusual and I'M PAYING FOR THIS"
[Private]-Welfidia: "over saying "fuck" after douchenozzle killed me... he didn't even get in trouble since he's a GM now"
Edit: This wasn't me in the conversation, just someone copy/pasting over to me.

I'll bring the drama to you, but you'll have to be the victim. Being the victim may or may not involve a pap smear.

I would love to hear a recording of her conversation with that "Lawyer" (who just may be the RL version of Lionel Hutz)
Lionel Hutz: Hello hello, Lionel Hutz attorney at law!
Welfidia: Yes, hi. I have a serious matter to bring to your attention and I may require representation.
Lionel Hutz: Well what seems to be the problem? The more frivelous, the better!
Welfidia: Well, here's the thing. They're being MEAN TO ME in a TEXT BASED ROLEPLAYING GAME. I mean first here I was minding my business when this ASSHOLE SHITHEAD FUCKNOZZLE ROGANE comes along and kills me and omg did I mention he's a GM NOW too so he didn't even get in trouble so it's a conspiracy you see they are all harassing me and I WILL HAVE SATISFACTION AND-
Lionel Hutz: Welfidia, I don't use the word "Hero" very often. But you are the greatest Hero America has ever known.

She hates Avantos because I am mean to her and if she's dead (which is all too often) I won't use a chrism on her cause she won't replace it or even tip. My empath fries off her all the time, and gets nothing too and she doesn't know whom that is.

My cleric chrism raised her the other day. She had indicated, like others, that she didn't need a chrism. Now, I'll grant you I just do it for all deaders while I have them in stock, but she didn't even say thanks. She said, " you didn't have to do that." I got zero tip. Guess what bitch? Welfidia 08-10-2010 01:14 PM Congratulations on being the king of those very people. Fuck off tard.
Looks like someone got pissed off.
Have there actually been any similar lawsuits against MMOs? I mean it's a very laughable idea, but I'm sure people have seriously tried it in other instances..
Or does simu ever offer free months of subscription the way cable/phone companies will if you bitch at 'em enough?

When I was playing my empath in TSC, she would blow traps all too often and they were usually scarabs. OR she would bring scarabs into TSC when she blew the trap elsewhere so it could maul people.
Funny a few times.. annoying the rest. Didn't help she wouldn't say anything to apologize or make up for it.
That's the extent of my interaction with this chick.

No, actually Rogane sucks.
I was unaware other people had bad interactions with Welfidia. I was once in TSC, stirring up a little trouble with a couple people there. Welfidia came in and out, but I never spoke to her, and really paid no notice of her. It came to a point where I challenged some dude to meet me outside the North Gate for a duel, which he did. We even had a count down and then I killed him. Seconds later, Welfidia ambushes me from hiding, and even though she was short of my DS by like 200 points, I take no chances that she may have fucked up and been in the wrong stance or something and kill her.
I had never had any interaction with her prior to that in any meaningful way that I can recall. She says the reason she did it was because I was "messing with her friends" and she didn't really care that it was actually a fairly formal duel. Hell, I think I even used the ingame challenge command on it.
I even went so far as to offer her spells and a deed, I like to make friends of enemies most of the time. She basically gets pissy and I just let it go, figuring she was one of those THIS GAME IS MY LIFE people.
Sometime later in the week, she dies. I figure a few days have passed, I'll go save her and perhaps she'll be grateful! I pop in, familiar gate her out, and then she gets pissy again and decays.
To this day I always give her a smile and a wave.... Except now I talk shit about her, I PsiNet Private Message bombed the shit out of her until she placed me on ignore, and whenever I happen to see her and I'm playing my rogue I'll clean her out.
