Asam.exe virus and Antispyware Suite/Soft Virus

So my wife was watching Grey's Anatomy online due to it being fucked up on Time Warner and somehow got these virus. After some effort and googling, I think I got most of both off, but my computer is still fucked up (some sites not loading, chrome not at all, etc).

Has anyone had this problem and found a free program that successfully remove it? I'm wary of downloading anything else unless I know someone has used it before and it works.

First run rkill (http://www.technibble.com/rkill-repair-tool-of-the-week/), then MalwareBytes - AntiMalware (http://www.malwarebytes.org/). Both free, and this is the 'standard' I use for cleaning these nasty fake Antivirus things off.
