So after last night's invasion of Tseleth, i logged onto my cleric and to my surprise 330 actually worked.

I wish i had logged what happened but I guess i was having too much fun.

nice and short version:

>inc 330

You recite:
Mighty V'Tull, allow me to be an instrument of the battle to come!

pray

A voice booms, "What is it you wish of the Champion mortal?"

'i wish to be an instrument of the blood shed that is to come

Laughter fills the air as the voice continues, "What makes you think you are worthy of such?"

'i do not consider myself worthy, i only wish to serve

"what would you have me do to prove myself, Lord V'Tull?"

'Lord, i have heard a dreamer is stirring awake."

'i wish to awaken this dreamer if it is your will."

pray

sigh

'perhaps i haven't offered enough blood."

Agony erupts from within your chest. Your heart pounds feebly, as if a tremendous fist has grasped it.

wheeze

A voice roars, "Those words are forbidden. The Champion fears nothing! No Dreamer, no rider."

'my apologies, Lord."

Your pulse pounds in your ears like battle drums.

'i only wished to further your glory!"

The voice, sounding only slightly mollified, booms, "There will be blood aplenty, soon enough, but for now the ground is pitiful and dry. Do you offer yourself as a sacrifice to the Champion?"

'if that is your will my Lord"

'or I can find a sacrifice for you"

(At this point Razurn and Keyen enter the temple)

'I bring more loyal servants for your glory, Lord!

(Enter a tremendous ensigiled stone construct)

It methodically kills all three of us. Razurn left the room to get healed and when he got back, the construct called him out on it: A tremendous ensigiled stone construct says, "No servant of the Champion flees."

After killing Razurn, the tremendous ensigiled stone construct says, "We approve."

"'i do not fear death!"

"'i humbly offer my blood!"

Then, as if to prove such witchery completely unnatural, the stone construct crumbles into a fine powder that is lost on a breeze.

After that, we were raised and that was the end.

I was hoping the gm would reveal how to break down the wall so we could totally destroy the town, but it was pretty fun getting commune to actually work.

Was it possible by GS4 standards to kill it?

this sounds really cool. i think commune is just sending a PM to any on-duty GMs or GH. that was one of the neater things i've seen in GS. pls make a thread for this storyline

Commune also creates a log that is, I believe, e-mailed to a specific GM. Not sure if that's still tracked or not.

a log would be better than the OP.

So that's what happened. I located you guys when you died and was wondering who you managed to tick off. Glad you had fun!
