level difference?
With 5 ranks means you could almost do it without almost insane efficiency.
Also, a -10 penalty for trying it again on the same target within X time.

<----74 trains. worked easier on the warriors than the lessers. Haven't tried it in a room full of critters. Wonder how it would work on bandits.

Probably. I wasn't in the forge for those, although I was able to have a magus walking back and forth. It seems like if you have a successful divert on a critter, you have a better chance of moving it again rather than moving another one.

I'm interested to know what the Gnome bonus is.
Pure elf rogue seems pretty rockin with the chance of adding +35. Maybe a Forest Gnome could add more total bonus, potentially.

I agree, a pure elf rogue even would rock this ability. It definitely makes it easier for rogues to hunt a few more busy areas at earlier levels.
I have a human rogue at level 88 now, with a +5 in Inf and two ranks in CMAN divert, and he has about a 90% chance of diverting critters of like level. I am enjoying the hell out of this maneuver.

I didn't log it... but my empath dropped in OTF last night, with a huge swarm of constructs. I kept sending them out, they kept coming back... A group came by and didn't realize someone was in hiding forcing them out of the room. Divert = awesome.
