Hey guys, I had started working on an FE for Android when the G1 came out a couple years ago, but one of the other GMs got a Nexus One and kicked me to get it in a state where other people could use it. You can download it at http://gemstone.flooey.org/org.flooey.android.fe.apk. As with everything in here, this is not endorsed by Simutronics, may not work very well, is unlikely to get much support, etc. Hope it's useful to some people :)

Worked pretty well on my droid, the scrolling isn't bad if you're in just to hang out. How does it work if you don't have a physical keyboard?

Works alright on my N1. Would be pretty much impossible to do anything but just watch some room scroll.

There's an on-screen keyboard.

No, just get Remote Desktop (on the market) instead. No reason to have an FE.

Works well on my Droid too, but not having an external keyboard would make things a little tricksy.

Android has impressed me to the point of switching all my development focus towards it.

This summer will be 8am-5pm android development.

Hopefully I can fill a niche and draw some users.

Nope, I was just making shit up.

Of note, None of the MONO formatted information would be displayed, including STATS, SKILLS, and I did a WHO FULL CONFIRM just to see what would happen, and alas, nothing. (Except of course, for the GM popping in and giving me dirty looks.)

I downloaded it. Great for doing merchant swaps when away from my computer. Can't hunt but chit chatting and RPing is easy with Swype. Yes!

Has anyone fixed this app to get rid of the scrolling problem (I have to manually scroll down all the time).

I'd like to hunt on my tablet PC (my only computer at this time), but Simu's Web Client 0.6.0 Beta is a disaster.

I prefer this client, but with scrolling problem, I cannot hunt.

I dont think so, I used it a couple times on my tablet when I was working during ebon gate so I could be present for some raffles, but it was not very manageable. Both in dealing with screen scroll and having to manually swipe down at times for it to be current and with entering in commands , especially directions and repeat commands( ie - if i was hunting, attack, etc.) I noticed I had to turn off log ins and deaths, etc too on the desktop first, to prevent extensive screen scroll. Anyway, it's a start but it needs a lot of refinement still I think to be useable.

If someone could fix the problem where you constanfly have to swipe to keep the text up to date, I'd be happy.

Anyone? I'll gift silvers or item(s). It's worth it to me.

Log on with the new front end on the web site. Works for my phone and tablet.

Web Client 0.6.0 Beta doesn't work on my Android.

Are you using an iPhone and iPad?

But I cannot hunt using either.

It works better for me then the android app, especially on my tablet. You shouldn't try to hunt on either though, it is mostly only useful to be logged in during raffles and stuff.

It's totally up to Ildran how much he wants to share the source, but if he puts it out there himself or through somebody else I'd be interested in taking a look at updating it, and I'm sure other people would too.
