This is an x-post from the officials for people that don't read there. I'm curious what the fine people of the PC think.
> Take a second off the RT, because we are already closer to the knee. The tall folks are getting bonuses (and we are getting penalties) from the changes to how INF is being used. Lets have some halfling friendly changes.
Yes, please! Mechanically, the smaller races are at a disadvantage when playing an ambushing rogue. Hell, even sniping is a good deal harder if you aren't a Dwarf (and who wants to be that smelly?). The more nimble/smaller (gnomes/halflings) should be able to do things slightly faster than the slower races. Throw an agility/dexterity check into CMANs where it makes sense for RT reduction.
For example,
Footstomp - Decrease RT based on weight but also decreases targets RT (a 45 lb gnome smashing a foot isn't the same as a 200 lb giant).
Nosetweak - If there isn't a height check, there should be.
Templeshot - See nosetweak. Small stun/damage based on size/strength of race.
Kneebash - Decrease RT based on size/agility/dexterity. Maybe add small damage for larger/stronger races.
Eyepoke - See nosetweak. Should also decrease perception.
Throatchop - See nosetweak.
Swiftkick - Decrease RT based on size/agility/dexterity. Maybe add small damage and 1 round stun for larger/stronger races.
Subdue - If the target is unable to reach the head have it work on the knees (without paralysis). This gives subdue usefulness to smaller races AND allows the smaller races the benefits of the silent strike changes. First subdue would bring them to their knees with and the second could work per normal.
Cutthroat - I've got nothing, but I sure would love to use this as well. If you change subdue we could use subdue then cutthroat to achieve the desired affect. Without changing the name this limits the enhanced functionality a smaller race could use.
Any thoughts?
