In reaction to the Simutronics price increase, I and GS4.org staff have created a letter to Simu at:

http://www.gs4.org/index.php?pagename=Pricing%20Effects&op=modload&na me=pnPhpWiki&file=index

Since this is a wiki, Anyone may add to the letter portion and everyone is encouraged to sign it.

Any additions or changes to the letter portion please try and get a hold of me first, however. See below for the trillion ways to contact me :)

Sign the letter with the instructions on the page.

You may also find my Simutronics Correction path interesting as well:

Simutronics is in bad shape if they need a price increase as bad as this. It is doubtful that the customer base is going to go for this without some justification and commitment on the part of Simutronics to fix ongoing problems.

These issue become a minor annoyance at $32.95, but become major when you want $39.95. I think we all need to see value for our money.

We will try and keep a tally of Anticipated Revenue versus Actual. This may get real ugly but necessary to show that raising prices equals a loss for the company.

Perhaps I should start a campaign to have them hire me as a business manager/project manager? What do you folks think?

"Sure we'll pay 14.95 if you hire Electrawn!"

Also, to site moderators, please top/sticky this Post.

From the few who have signed: http://www.gs4.org/index.php?pagename=Pricing%20Effects&action=edit&o p=modload&name=pnPhpWiki&file=index

Commited Loss of Revenue:

Total: -$246.1 Yearly:-$2953.20, Will+

Possible Loss of Revenue:

Total:-$361.05, Yearly:-$4332 No change+

Ouch.

I'll do some math on what the current revenue is soon for the next post.
