MARCH OF RHYMES: CHE WORLDWIDE AMUNET RELEASED! · on 3/28/2004 1:51:55 PM 574

Thoughts of your housemates
Though not always deep
Will invade your waking
And resonate in your sleep
No matter the city
Or town that you roam
You'll converse, if you want
With folks from your home.

Available now to all members of Great Houses of Elanthia is the ability to communicate with members of your House, no matter where in the Lands they might be. How, you ask? Via your House pin/amulet, of course! By using your House amunet, any member of a Great House will be able to transmit their thoughts to fellow members of their House, either by THINKING TO (for thoughts to an individual) or by THINKING (to broadcast to all House members who have their House pins/amulets active at the time.) Nifty, no?

Now you can relay House meetings to other realms while they occur, and receive instant input from members who have travelled far or have taken residence in distant locales. Just reach out...Your Housemates are there!

People still belong to Houses, why?

For bigger lockers...why else?

Now there is another reason as well.

I think this is one of the best ideas they have enacted for houses in a while.

Yea my lockers are the only reasons I'm really a member. These amulets don't do anything for me because they only are worldwide to other members of the same house assuming I read it right.

How, you ask? Via your House pin/amulet, of course!I bet it's like when you make amulets out of certain gems, they have their own nets.

So you can flag down someone worldwide ... just so long as he's wearing his pin too and knows to rub it? Yeah right.

I'll stick with Psinet.

Best Ideas? I guess when your standards are that low.. anything is good.

Who will actually use this? Probably no one.

I would think that that would be part of the point Tijay.

This has the ability to actually foster some sense of community in houses as well as allowing at least some level of IC rational for all the OOC communication that we all do via aim etc...

What was Warclaidhm in?

I just know it wasn't Silvergate, because I was scheduled to fight him in the Gladiator Games (I took first place in three divisions, getting us 15 points).

I need to join a house.

Chadj

I'm in paupers :)

Mostly cause when i joined, I had no grasp of how much money was worth in the game, so I figured the "No annual fee's" policy rocked.. I mean, where was I supposed to scrounge up 20k every year????

Galleazzo
03-30-2004, 06:35 PM
Who does charge an annual fee other than Silvergate?

Chadj

Dunno. but the list i was lookin at way back when, said just about all do, cept paupers. Might have changed by now tho

Galleazzo

Dude, what list'd that be? Sovyn doesn't, Beacon Hall doesn't, Aspis doesn't, White Haven doesn't, Paupers doesn't. I don't think Brigatta or Arcane does either.
