I think you have missed a few MA crews. kitsun, Sabreon, swami, and myself to name a few. You also don't hear as much about,merchanting because people aren't as greedy or stand offish as Tsin.

Tsin returning wouldn't make anyone else want to return, imo. People left for their own reasons. I do agree that Tsin's gear was second to none just before he left, but before in the years before he left there were several folks with great stuff to sell. I've seen very little that compares with that stuff in recent months/years, and very few things released in the maze were even in the same ballpark as things folks used to sell in years gone by. Technically most of Tsin's stuff wasn't his, he was selling for other people for a commission.

Even if you weren't playing GS and hadn't in forever, you could still count on Tsin to IM you trying to tell you items or coins or whatever.

Example:

MONDAY:

Tsin: yo, you wanna buy a <insert item>?
Person: I sold my GS account over a year ago and am never coming back.

THURSDAY:
Tsin: yo, you wanna buy a <insert another item>?
Person: Dude I told you I sold my account forever ago and aren't coming back.

2 WEEKS LATER:
Tsin: yo, you have any coins to sell?
Person: /facepalm

6 MONTHS LATER:
Tsin: yo, I have this <item> you have any <item type> you'd wanna trade for it?

Got your innuendos out? Ok, it was supposedly made for a friend of Whatley's that wanted to try out Gemstone. Basically operates like the spellup staff except there are no limits on it's use and it gives you every defensive and utility spell.

That is a shame since he was teh most famous rogue in the lands, tops on all fame lists and power. When Bubbauno ran him, people got the FUCK out the way or they knew what would happen to them (dueling boulder be damned!).

I think we pretty much all agree the items he merchanted were top of the line. At least he trafficked in quality. Look at some of the shit Ardwen, Neimanz, and other "high end" merchants are peddling (shadowarz and bramblz for the lose). Where are you Tsin (orginal) when we need you?!

If anyone has his contact information, I encourage you to try to encourage him to return. If the rest of you would treat him a little more kindly and with respect, it will go a long way.

It is bad enough we lost dartaghan, thalior, celtar, bloodsnake, my mage Orbstar [whom I have never found again :( ], edgeleaf, tenser, basil, and a ton of others. If there was a way to bring back the "heart" of gemstone, getting Tsin back in the flesh would do it. Look at the pale imitations of merchantism and MA hunters we have now. Hacks.

I had to laugh @ Methais's post about Tsin. Bubbauno would IM me every fuckin day about shit like I had more coins then he had. A strong merchant who was always about his business though.

As opposed to this "Boulder Beware", I've never seen Tsin duel. He was always just raping the lands for its silvers to sell. Him&Edge really made a grip off of this game. However, I'd list Drektor or Boomsplat as rogues that held it down at the boulder and showed up for dueling tournaments quite often.

Kind of miss those days we'd all play "Loaf of Fate" on the rock. Duel non stop and the GM's would send in blue-skinned roa'ters to terrorize us and break up our mayhem. lol I even remember when Bobmuhthol was low lvl and we'd all take shots at him for laughs and whoever killed him lost the game. Traveling across the lands to kill Methais & Morgynn was a lot of fun as well. I guess if I could sum it up, PvP == Fun and the GM's killed that shit a long time ago. Sure... we got shattered, but it came wayyy too late.

Yup I'm aware. No regrets. GS4 really killed things for me. A lot of friends left over time: Turinrond, Kharhazz, Brimstone, Biggun, Vixxon, etc... I'm sure we could all fill in the blanks of friends who have cashed out. I only play because of my brother now. EDIT: And because it helps pay tuition!
