BUMP! Its a grea time, come join us!
Here are some of the past winners:
an obsidian kraken sculpture~This obsidian sculpture is of an enormous kraken, its octopod tentacles coiling and uncoiling, its crab's pincers fending off anyone who comes near. A boy and an old woman are caught in the tentacles of the beast. The old woman is plainly dying, but the boy is still visibly straining to break free. A man who strongly resembles the boy is plunging a javelin toward the kraken's octopus head and its one glaring ruby eye. A copper plaque is fitted to the base of the sculpture.
There appears to be something written on it.
First Place 5399 in the Solhaven Grand Art Exibit ~ Kraken--The Curse of Solhaven by Nofret Hrist on permanent loan from Lady Songie Fillee and Shinryu.
a delicate glass picture~Artfully pressed between two panes of glass is a colorful floral portrait of a young sylvan woman. Layered petals of pink and white honeysuckle depict her blushing fair skin, while pale carnations mixed with golden aster petals form a heart pendant with a budding rose at the base of her throat. Black orchids and blue violets intertwine darkly in a halo of hair that is held back by a crown of anemone flowers above the curving tip of one ear. A scented parchment is affixed to the bottom edge.
There appears to be something written on it.
At the base of the portrait is a small plaque, which reads: First Place 5104 in the Solhaven Grand Art Exhibit. "Flower Maiden," by Yukito.
