View Full Version : Kurapira & Klaive, the new Vif/Amberain?

Caramia

Heard on the amunet:
Kurapira [subdued]: "Violenttmoon kills people with her tuna stench."
Kurapira [subdued]: "that woman needs to close her legs, and maybe she could fight something."
Klaive [subdued]: "Violenttmoon can't close her legs. They've rusted open."
Kurapira [subdued]: "Violenttmoon, nice to hear from you. If you are going to whore yourself out, at least charge a silver or two."

Almost as bad as Vif's red cotton rag in her leggings or Amberain's penchant for telling women to shut their legs so she doesn't have to smell them.

How low the mighty fall.

Really, that is just unnecessary vulgarity.

WOAH! These two have the balls to call someone on cybersex and call someone a slut? What the hell is that. Klaive has cybersex with anything that moves. My god I'm sure the shaggy mutt has been violated by Klaive....

If they are carrying on like that on the amunet, you can Report them. That will be of more value than posting it here, really. Vulgarity does not have to be tolerated but, unless it is Reported when it happens, it will continue.

Aren't Violentmoon and Kurapira sisters?

Drama, weirdos.... little of column A, little of column B. It is pretty raw for a family game, but I wouldn't report it.

They are, or were. Mutual friends say Violenttmoon was pissed off about it.

She was reported by several people and some of us asked her to keep it to private, which she refused to do so.

Kurapira pretty much thinks she can say and do anything. Klaive's "god" complex is rubbing off.

Yes, they cyber like little rabbits I hear, since she's pregnant with Klaive's child. Spun said they're into three-ways, too, LOL. No surprise there, Klaive hits anything.

Probably because it took her less than a minute to say it, and by that time the GMs probably missed hearing it. Not that I imagine they're watching for someone talking about tuna.

It's in the "Thoughts on roleplaying" folder. Andraste is the original starter of the thread. Andraste was pissed about hearing this shit on the net.... I believe it's under a folder called "the difference between crude and witty" or something close to that effect.

I have to be honest, that would of been reported in a heartbeat by me. My kids (12 and 9) both play this game, and I won't stand for that kinda crap!

Thanks, just read it all. Sounds like the same thing, LOL. I didn't get that she was pissed though, more that she just rolled her eyes at the whole thing. Eh, she's human too, why shouldn't she find it vulgar?

I have to take a public bus to and from work, and it travels past a lot of schools. Kids get on and start talking about fuck-this and shit-that all the time, and go into graphic detail about what they did with their girlfriend or boyfriend the other night. Really entertaining!

Thats sad. I guess they were the ones that got insults flung at them in school, now they retaliate in a text-based RPG. To each his own, but Kurapira that reminds me of tihs girl i knew from back in the rave scene, would do anything for attention. Someone should inform her that quitting GemStone is the coolest thing you can do, and you will get alot of attention if you never return.

I first played around the age of 8, with my dad watching over my shoulder.. Started playing alone by the age of 10. In grade 6, I had an 11th grade reading level, and acing all my classes. I now have a job, play on 3 school sports teams.. I actually attribute some of this to GS. If the child that is playing, is careful with who they hang out with, and is responsible enough, then GS can make a very positive impact on them.

And to stay on topic, even Vif doesn't do dumb stuff like that anymore.

DeV
03-29-2004, 12:22 PM
I think its ok for "some" kids to play that young an age. But in a world like gemstone its the adults you have to watch out for when kids play that young. Hell, I wouldnt want my kids playing Gemstone at any age younger than 16.

As for the "bonnie and clyde" of Gemstone. What roleplaying! Sad. They belong together.

I agree, it's definitly up to the adults playing to watch their mouth in public places. I would never let my girls play GS until at least 16. Chaj, I'm glad it had a good impact on you, I'm just overprotective ;)

Oh, and I like Vif, I've never seen her be overly crude, sure she carries clam in her leggings, but that's just silly and weird, not crude.

Just because ignorance is bliss and you're happy doesn't mean that a clam in your pants isn't crude.

Bearded clam is a sexual reference, so is just clam in general when referring to female anatomy. If I have to draw a picture I will but I don't think it will need to come to that.

Vif is a very, very crude person. It wouldn't be so bad if the shit she pulled was funny but it's not it's tasteless humor, and I know tasteless humor I'm a guy.

Solkern, given a chance, Klaive will go on and on forever about his virginity and wanting to stay pure for his bride-to-be, and wanting his bride to be pure too.

I still see beating yourself off while cybering in a game as "sex", albeit it onanism. We'd probably have to have a whole discussion about whether sex is defined as penetration, and if penetration defiles virginity, if people wanted to get technical about whether cybering is considered sex.

Speaking of immature, I've had this tune in my head (Sweet Betsy From Pike) ever since watching the Gray Fox last night. So this poem came up in my head and I got to spill it out before it infects my brain. Skip this if you need to:

Klaive is the ooze on an orc's fuming stool
Kurapira spreads for Klaive's tiny tool
Together they stink up Elanthia's shores
Searching for kobold bisexual whores!

Man, I definitely need more freaking sleep.

As much a waste of life that Klaive is, he does have a point. Everytime I run into Violenttmoon she's with a new guy, then bugs me nonstop to unlock my Solhaven house so she can go cyber in it and/or tells me how she got some deep dickin' in my house, since I usually leave the door unlocked.

Most internet relations remains internet relations.

People are either too poor, too lying, too stupid or too afraid to go beyond the concept of internet.

You said you were 1 year with her. One year is a lot. But I don't know you. Perhaps you're the kind of guy that don't need a lot of sex to be happy, or cuddles or whatever.

Personnaly, I would not be able to do so. I'm a man that need the stuff in front of him and not just letters and words.

You said distance is still a pain in the butt.
Well, tough luck, but it was your choice.

At least, you met her.

And being madly in love with her is not the point. You could be madly in love with anyone that is what you'd want in a woman.

I personnaly think internet relations is loser, really loser. That's just it.

And thats great that you live in a big city. Me? I live in a dustbowl town. The ONLY place to meet other people here is bars. Well, I don't drink, and I' REALLY not interested in meeting someone who spends their time doing so.

I'm happy with what I have, and happy with the time I can spend with Kylie. Maybe you should stop living your life based on what your penis can get, and start living your life the best you can. Each day is only what you make it.

My point, simply.

Skirmisher, post your picture now!

I'm going to take this moment to inform you X.

Your lack of grasp of our language is making you sound like a complete ass in the post above.

Hookay!

First of all, people are entitled to love the person they wish to love. They do not have to ask permission, and they do not have to meet someone else's guidelines as to what love really is, or how it might be found.

Secondly, Skirmisher can post her picture when, and if, she wishes. She may not be ORDERED to do so!

I cannot understand the morbid fascination with other people's lives that some of us seem to get bogged down in, but that is just me. The fact remains that one person cannot tell another how they will love, when they will love, who they will love, or when and where they will post their freaking picture!

Yeah, it does. If people are talking about her 'realizing and 'leaving' him, and they're talking about an online relationship.... well that's just odd.

Even if it seems odd to you, Hulkein, it is THEM doing it. It is not you. Everybody probably seems a bit odd to SOMEBODY. ;)

I'm not affected either.. I'm saying the terminology of the way people are describing their relationship is weird. People are acting as if it's a real life relationship, that's why I asked, because I don't know if it is or not.

I do not know if the two people being discussed have met face to face, or not. It is not really my place to know, since it does not affect me in any way. I just cannot understand why people are so darned fascinated with them...or with anybody else's life, for that matter. :?:

Hee! Probably your best option, Hulkein. If we start trying to analyze the lives of all the people who play, men with white coats are going to begin arriving at our doors. :D

How can one hate someone one does not even know? While any number of us may agree, or disagree, on various topics, we do not really KNOW one another. To hate someone one does not know seems like a huge waste of energy!

Wow HOLD YOUR HORSES THERE!

People can do whatever WHATEVER they want. If a person want to be with dogs, it's his OWN decision. But when it becomes public knowledge, it's a different things.

You can:

1) ignore it

2) talk about it

3) bash it.

I am the kind of person that tend to do 2 or 3, depending.

If you don't want people to talk about something, you do like supar hobbit mage just did: you ask that it remains as it is.

Simply.

You, Harmnone, aren't the kind of person that bashes people. WOOWOWO THAT ROCKS!

Bravo, but I'm not like that.

If I want to bash the idea of internet relationship, it's my decision, though.

There's things about me I don't want to talk about, as I know i'd get bashed. As many people in fact. Secret gardens are made for that purpose, well, I think.

And as for Skirmisher, MOMY, she is old enough to defend herself. Hence, she even bashed me here and there. If she doesn't like the way I am asking her to post her pictures, she CAN, HERSELF, tell me.

I really don't like people doing what you are doing, even less when those people in question CAN DO IT THEMSELVES and they did it before!

LordAdredrin: sorry, I had no bad intentions in that post. I still tell you that it's good that you went over the internet relationship and made it a real one.

HarmNone

Who is to say the people being discussed will not do as Adredrin has done, X? We do not know what will come of their relationship, and it is really none of our business.

As for ordering Skirmisher to post her picture, that is just plain rude. That is exactly what I was trying to point out to you. Sometimes, since English is not your first language, your wording can be mistaken pretty badly. It does not speak well for you when it is. That is all I was trying to say. :)

While I do not understand the fascination with Klaive and Kurapira, discuss it as you wish. Just be sure not to catch other people (like Adredrin and Skirmisher) in the cross-fire while you are doing so. That is unnecessary.

X, I am not sure what part of my post you took as bashing when i took pains to be sure to not do that.

if you want a totally honest opinion of you then ok, here it is.

You either are, or attempt to come across as a man who lives back in the uber macho world with clearly delineated sex roles. You make your position with some humor which is your saving grace, but the position it self is so outdated as to be laughable.

I enjoy exchanging ideas and jokes with you most of the time, but you just get tiresome when you go off on your macho tangents.

And no worries HarmNone, like I said I said to Adredrin, I find X amusing most of the time and really dont take him seriously. I just ignore him when I wish and thereby am able to joke with him most of the time when he is simply being silly instead of irksome.

Harmnone, I knew we would understand each others. Yeah, let's blame it on the language barrier:)

Skirmisher: you bashed me, before. Now, since a while, no, I think you went above it as you surely noticed that I didn't mind OR it wasn't even worth it.

The macho deal about me, well, it's as internet is, 75% stories, 25% facts.

Hope you understand this well
