7x longbow with perm decent sighting.

An elven infantry longbow.

3lbs

Not selling - just inventorying.

Any ideas on value?

Above 5x for bows is really subjective because it is relatively simple to get 5x arrows.

This makes it a harder sell.

That being said the 7x goes straight to DS too, so there's that to figure in.
No idea.

If you decide to sell let me know, I'll buy.

I disagree. 5x arrows are a pain in the ass and time intensive. 6x bow 4x arrows is where you can start making that argument, IMO. Even still, DS is always important.

5x arrows are not a pain in the ass at all.

I always found it easier to buy arrows at a store and eblade than fletching.

I don't even bother to eblade anymore. Just a waste of time.

Arrows suck though, everywhere except for 1 place.

I think arrows weigh .5 pounds in everywhere but 1 place, where they weigh .1 pounds.

Nothing like carrying around 300 bundles of arrows.

I was offered 9 million for my 6X sighted bow, so yours has to be worth a bit more than that.

What's not a pain in the ass about spending ~1 minute per arrow that you're probably going to lose anyway? Give me 100 arrows from the store for 100 coins, eblade them, and go. Or, two hours fletching.

It's called a script?

Asha

Fletch script when you are resting. Whenever.
You really can't be telling us you think that's hard work?

Who said anything about hard work? I said it's a pain in the ass. One takes < 10 seconds, the other takes a lot of (rather heavy) equipment and time. I don't care to carry around logs/fletchings/glue/paint/drill/arrowheads/razor/axe/knife on my hunt, and that takes up a lot of locker space.

Edit: Plus, you have to master fletching in the first place. Yes, it's easy. No, it doesn't happen overnight.

Do it when you rest? How hard is it to put something in your locker during hunts? Pain in the ass? lol.

There are other things I would rather do than watch my screen fletch arrows between hunts.

Who wants to spend their gaming time doing stupid shit like that?

I haven't fletched a single arrow since mastering. Useless system imo. Eblade ftw. Plus you get automatic flares without having to find some special item. Fletching would be worth it if you could specialize your arrows more, i.e. certain arrowheads gave you crit weighting, etc.

You activate one script you fucking idiot. Easy-mode. Like buying your characters and underhunting them to get coin.

Um, you can?

Plus you only need to eblade your fletched arrows once to get the benefit on every arrow/subsequent bundle.

Seriously, if you don't want +5 extra AS, don't bother. Otherwise stop moaning.

I've never tried, are you saying I can add non-ebladed master fletched arrows to my e-bladed master fletched bundle and they'll take the e-blade?

Sharnath

They have to be the same arrow and have to be e-bladed as well to be added to the bundle. And the e-blade has to be of the same element. Unless I've been doing it wrong.. which is possible.

I don't think have it wrong. I always thought the same... hell you can't even bundle a voln blessed arrow with a cleric blessed.

You can have two different e-blade type arrow bundles and bundle them together. They'll take on the e-blade of the bundle in your right hand.

Awesome info--this will really help keep a fire-blade much longer, just got to make sure never to kill it.

Since I don't know when. I always used to bundle mixed e-blades to get them all whatever flare I wanted. I haven't actually used arrows in forever though, so just tried to test, and you're right, they don't anymore. :( I tried to find the original source I got my info from but I'm not having any luck. Did find http://www.gemstone4-guides.com/prof-ranger.htm where it says
"Eblades of different elements can be bundled. The target bundle is the leading eblade type; throwing 50 arrows ebladed with lightning for the next 700 shots in a bundle of 2 arrows ebladed with fire for the next 5 shots produced a bundle of 52 arrows, ebladed (ALL) with fire, for the next 705 shots." Sorry for the out of date information, folks.

Here. Problem solved. GoS + Archery = win.
