I was looking for a new biz, and this came into my purview. Decided to go for it . dropped the cash, got my first radio spot done, and be opening in about 60 -90 days. Already got a manager I think hired, and all I be doing is marketing.

I think this will be fun, and I'm gonna have this for some parties for us at my house, already promised one of my friends one.

Make some many, make a difference, fixing the economy one new business at a time.

They "do not currently provide service within 80 miles" of Boston. Yeah, okay, cool company.

I can't see this being anything more than a novelty service for little rich brats. I hope for your sake there is a market out there for it. I just don't see one. With how far gaming has come along, it's not as appealing as it once would have been. Also, with the exception of completely apathetic parents, this of course being my opinion as well, most parents would like their children to have a special birthday expereince. Something where maybe they're drawn away from the gaming systems for a few hours. Not one where they only thing they're going to be doing is fighting over who gets to play with what next. Though Chuck-E-Cheese made bank for a little while with that ridiculous concept.

There are plenty of parents who want their kids to have a good time while they grab another scotch and water, and plenty of money in Paul's market. I'm curious to see how it works out; hope it goes well for you Paul.

I'm not saying that I don't wish him the best. I do. I just don't see this kind of service fitting the niche that it once would have.

Friend I know does little princess parties. Themed birthday parties for girls where they make stuffed animals for one, beads and jewelry in another.

I thought it was sort of lame when I was approached to be a ground floor investor and didn't take them up on it and they are currently making bank on it.

I hope this goes very well for you.

I think it's a good idea.

We played the shit out of the Madden football game busses that showed up at the college football games.

Parents spend a fortune on even jumpy jumpy inflatable thingy rentals and this is much cooler and less risk of injury. /shrug

I'm jacked about the inflatable hamster balls, they rock.

Booger wars as Brute pointed out, outsdoor laser tag.

I got satelite internet and the cool a/v cart ordered so I can throw up the big game on a screen while dad has another drink while lil Johnny actually gets outside and runs around a bit, or plays a game with others rather than in his room.

Guy i know who did this is NJ is booked so much in the first 2 months, he's already expanding.

Heck, i've shared the contact info with this with one of my friends from here already.

The corporate market is buying in too, its not just for kids.

Heck, my attorney sent me a recent decision that a company got found liable for the acts of an employee who got drunk at an employer sponsored party as well as the bar. Huge new leap in employer liability.

Outdoor laser tag as team building or guitar hero vs the 3 martini officer party...hmmm, i think I can make some money there too.
