What are you talking about? The sense updates had no effect on us whatsoever.

I don't get it.
Did you think you have sole ownership of this verb? Or did you want this turned into a guild skill that you only had and every other profession had to train in a similar guild skill to get a similar output?
I'm not sure I understand you're response of "they're my toy and I'm not sharing them with anyone" response.

Oh, also, from a Bard's perspective.
Sense is meaningless for items . . . mostly. If an item has a "history" via loresong which is what SENSE for bards picks up on then most won't sell at the pawn or gem shop so obviously a bard will loresing to find out the properties of said item. This renders the SENSE verb almost totally retarded for items. Room items, well that's different and the insane rarity of those (except none, that I know of, have any mechanical benefit rendering this verb meaningless).

Wizards had the first viably useful sense long before rangers...

I'd gladly trade my mage sense for the ranger version. Using the Wizard means missing goddamn exits some days.

Does ranger sense still give the message of 'XXXX looks around as if he's lost'?

It would be cool if rangers could SENSE what creatures commonly gen in an area by studying the terrain.

I just want them to reduce the RT from using SENSE indoors. Does it really take 10 fucking seconds to discover that you're inside?!?

"Hmm. Something doesn't feel right. Am I dehydrated? No... Do I have to poop? Don't think so... OH!! I'm inside a house!"
Roundtime: 10 sec.

I've had to think about having to poop before . . . TOO LATE! :(
