This is great news for pretty much everyone if this company gets off the ground. Fuel cells are about as clean an energy source as you can get with existing technology, and if these things become economically viable for homes they will literally do away with the power grid system of distribution we currently use.
Beats the hell out of RTG's for space exploration as well, and both Ford and Honda are already working on fuel cell designs for cars.
I am curious as to what kind of fuel cell he is planning on producing though. I think the PEMFC is the one the DoE is currently focusing on for transportation, but the vehicles that Ford and Honda are playing around with use hydrogen wich has it's own problems. But the only by-product of these is pure water...so not such a bad thing.
