The reason that coinners bullshit is ongoing and really screwing up game play for some people (talk to the body he walked out of TSC with last night) is that people find it amusing. If everyone ignored him, he would crawl back into the hole he came out of.
So, if you don't want to encourage him don't announce on the amulet when he's lurking around, don't bind him, don't kill him, and if you do disable him, don't invite the entire town to come help you. If you have the time in game to egg on his crap then give simu the extra five bucks a month and go to Scattered. Otherwise, ignore the little prick.

I know when I played Rivalyn and others back in the day, I would go round and round with coinner/sillvento. Was very entertaining, I think I killed him like 30+ times and got killed by them maybe 5.
Great times. Glad he's still around and the same :)

As a site thought, though, I think it's pretty mean to bind someone for hours on end, even if he is a scumbag.
In terms of thieves, it comes with the territory. If you want to play an evil character, be prepared to suffer the consequences. That being said, binding someone for that length of time is against policy.

I must say, I enjoy what a character like Coinner brings to the game. I had more fun hunting him down than I've had in years. Perhaps it's commendable of him to provide us a villain. It's got to be hard to be such a jerk all the time.

I read (I think during the 312 bug) that GM's can't do a thing about removing RT.
It also persists through being logged out ;)

I think bards are the masters of stacking RT now that Feint was nerfed.
