Found this ring box in a strongbox I found today.
Look box
Lined in pure white crushed velvet, the linden box is polished to a lustrous sheen and preserved with a clear lacquer. Overlapping cloud patterns rise around the four sides of the piece, while the lid is carved with the image of a mountain peak. A lone woman stands looking down at the meadow below where an airship leaves a small, highly detailed port. On the bow of the vessel is a man that is gazing up at the female, though his body is turned towards the waiting sky.
There appears to be something written on it.
read box
In the Common language, it reads:
The Shared Man
and inside the box :: whorl-etched sterling silver band (2)
l band
Fashioned of silver, the wide man's band is actually comprised of two bands wedded to become one. The larger band has slightly higher walls designed to loosely cradle the small band, which is free to spin around the other piece without coming free. A delicate script is engraved into the wider portion, while the inner one is etched with rolling whorls that are darkened on the bottom.
There appears to be something written on it.
read band
In the Common language, it reads:
Even though the skies are your mistress,
On the land I am the only one for thee.
and the womans.....
Fashioned of silver, the narrow woman's band is actually comprised of two bands wedded to become one. The larger band has slightly higher walls designed to loosely cradle the small band, which is free to spin around the other piece without coming free. A delicate script is engraved into the wider portion, while the inner one is etched with rolling whorls that are darkened on the bottom.
There appears to be something written on it.
>read my band
In the Common language, it reads:
Even though the skies are my mistress,
On the land you are the only one for me.
turn band
Almost absently, you spin the inner ring of your band and are rewarded with the soft sound of metal sliding on metal.
They are also blank imbed/persistant.
Twisting it does absolutly nothing, though I did get a puppy to come and drool when I did twist the first, but nothing after.
