You trace an intricate sign that contorts in the air while forcefully invoking Dark Catalyst...
Your spell is ready.
>cast at spawn
You gesture at Spawned.
CS: +293 - TD: +235 + CvA: +14 + d100: +81 == +153
Warding failed!
Spawned is suddenly engulfed in an explosion of pure essence and brilliant white fire!
... and hits for 30 points of damage!
... 40 points of damage!
Neck consumed in flame and charred to a crisp.

* Spawned drops dead at your feet!

The brilliant luminescence fades from around Spawned.
The air calms down around Spawned.
The deep blue glow leaves Spawned.
The light blue glow leaves Spawned.
The powerful look leaves Spawned.
The silvery luminescence fades from around Spawned.
The bright luminescence fades from around Spawned.
A shadow seems to detach itself from Spawned's body, swiftly dissipating into the air.

A young halfling scurries off screaming, "Omens has committed murder!"

You feel 3 mana surge into you!
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

As most of us have been playing or have played GemStone long enough to see every crit message, the logs of characters killing each other are a bit bland.

Honestly, what's the point? I can get a character to level 10 and be able to kill anyone, should the circumstances be right. The fucking political quagmires are more interesting than these piles of garbage.

Man, I wish I had a 300 CS...

Oh, wait.

Drawing a deep breath, you raise your ebony warhorn to your lips, and with a mighty blow you wind the warhorn, loosing a low modulating hornblast. The terrible sound flowing from the warhorn builds, carrying the screams of a host of agonized souls with its dreadful song!

Warding failed!
The kobold suddenly looks terrified!
The kobold turns and runs screaming into the distance, never to be seen again.
Roundtime: 6 sec.

[Ta'Vaalor, Amaranth Wey]
Few people wander through the area at this hour. The towering gate looms above, blocking any view of the moons and stars and leaving the area only dimly lit by several ironwork torches placed along the wey. A group of guardsmen stands to one side, casually watching the crowd. You also see a shabby hovel and a wooden barrel.

[Ta'Vaalor, Amaranth Wey]
The wey branches off in several directions, the sparse population hurrying along as they pursue their various courses. Thickly-trunked haon bushes line the edges of the limestone cobbles, preventing passersby from wandering too far into the yards of the neatly-kept stonework cottages set back from the wey. You also see a sleek golden ferret.
Obvious paths: northeast, east, west

[Ta'Vaalor, Amaranth Court]
A large inn marks the bustling corner of the court, its massive walls enlivened by deeply carved intertwining vines that creep up the stonework and meet in a mass of heavy stone foliage above each window embrasure and door lintel. An engraved silver sign, illuminated by the lanterns hanging from the inn's wide awning, swings from a post beside the inn's ironwood front doors.

[The Legendary Rest, Lobby]
A spacious lobby replete with gleaming brass fixtures, plush woolen carpet, and polished walnut furniture greets guests both coming and going. Carved, thickly padded walnut chairs reside next to lacquered walnut tables, their wood grain surfaces rubbed to a mirror-like sheen, and richly appointed tapestries adorn the walls. A pair of heavy walnut doors, inlaid with cut-glass panes, allow exit to an immaculate courtyard, while a dignified elf waits stiffly behind a polished walnut desk. You also see the proprietor Rouschall and a brass planter.
Also here: Enfaus who is sitting
Obvious exits: out
>Faelynar just wandered in and handed his room key back to the innkeeper behind the desk.
>'Fine evening to you, good sir.
You say, "Fine evening to you, good sir."
>nod enf
You nod to Enfaus.

You are holding a broadsword in your right hand and a reinforced shield in your left hand.
You are wearing some weathered indigo full leathers, a brushed blue felt hat, a pair of gold-threaded leggings, some dark blue square-toed shoes, a large golden yellow pack, a small cobalt blue belt pouch, a crystal amulet and a leather sheath.
Type INVENTORY HELP for more options.
>Faelynar just went through a pair of heavy walnut doors.

You say, "Speldifourous."

Title edited. There's no need to bait here. Post the log and title it, don't attempt to start an argument over something silly.

Why dont you make it all in one thread?
I have one thread of about 10 pages of things like this. I say it looks better that way and makes for less spam.

Your right Edine. Every time I post I thought I had to hit new thread. Painfully obvious now that I do not.
Thanks.
