I always thought of dwarves as having names like tholin or gimli, kind of stereotypical Tolkien-esqe names, or having completely stupid names like Clump. Since I was going to be RPing him as a fairly serious character, I wanted to have a stupid name, something to give him a complex about. I had two other names picked out before Celery, one of them being another vegetable, but they were taken.
