Been doing a little genealogy and thought I would ask this question. What cultures make up your heritage?

Mine are Welsh, Scotch-Irish, Irish, English, and American Indian (Choctaw). Those have been the ones I've been able to find out so far. What are yours?

Vesi

Edited to clarify what type of Indian.

english (traced back to henry the 5th), scottish Traced back to ancestor that was a highland outlaw banished to america and all family records were destroyed before that. and german traced back 7 generations where both great great ect grandparents were orphans, both records stating parents were of german descent and that was as far as we've been able to trace that side. so dead ends everywhere i look, kind of sucks, but my ancerstors weren't rich and the poor couldn't afford to keep records i guess.

English, French, German, Scottish, Irish, American Indian (Cherokee, Appachee, Comanchee, Blackfoot..not sure on those spellings :P ).

My great great grandfater was the last Chief for the Blackfoot, so I'm told. He lived to 103. My mother (age 5 at the time) was on the farm the day he died. She swears up and down he knew exactly when he was going to. He purposefully left the house, and walked out into the middle of the corn fields right before he passed on.

::Exhales::

Dad's side:

Welsh, Scots-Irish, German.

That's the easy one.

Mom's side:

French, Hungarian, Czecheslovakian, Scottish, and Russian/Ukranian. ... It's hard to know actually because my grandmother's family were gypsies who moved around Eastern Europe a lot. Needless to say, I don't go out in the sun a lot.

My mums side of the family are all Irish, me and my sister are the first ones to be born in England, my fathers parents are from England & Iran and actually some Spanish and Welsh in there I think. My Dad is adopted so I get confused about who is from where!

I think of myself as English/Irish. I look Irish apparently. :)

Actually my family is mostly German and English, with some polish and one Indian (my great grandfather) thrown into the mix so that I can tan nicely.
