Back Bay actually. I was hoping some of you Boston folks could fill me in on the best places to eat and some good bars. I'm gonna be there for a month and I'm staying on Marlborough St. and I'll be spending a lot of time on Harvard St in Allston

I'll be spending a lot of time on Harvard St in Allston

Did you lose a bet or something?

Actually, there are a few places around there that are all right. You'll get introduced pretty quickly to Big City (lots of pool tables) and Sunset Grill (lots of beers), but I highly recommend you keep walking south. Rami's, down the road in Brookline, has the best falafel in the city, and Coolidge Corner in general has better offerings than Allston. But what you should REALLY do is get to the Publick House on Beacon Street in Brookline. That is one of the best places on Earth as far as I'm concerned, although the line for a table can get insane on Friday and Saturday nights.

Agreed.

Sunset Grill ++

But, Publick House is the real deal.

Publick house has the best fries in the world.

Coolidge Corner also has Zaftigs. Nothing to drink there, but it makes awesome breakfast. Be prepared for a colossal wait on weekend mornings up until well after lunch.

If any of you mass or nh folks need any smoking accessories, pipes, detox, anything of the sort, I'm open I'm Amherst, Manchester, and Allston. Send me a pm if you want address details or look for Wild Side in all three cities. I'm giving away a $500 water pipe in Allston on the 15th, that'll be fun

I assume you mean Amherst, NH and not Amherst, MA, just for clarity.

The Pour House is good for drinks and burgers, but can get loud. Thai Basil on Newbury used to be pretty good. Never did a whole lot of Copley dining. I've been told the tapas place (Tapeo, I think?) on Newbury is good. Capital Grille is fancy pants.
