I advise not getting hit in the first place.
I think that's better than flares, honestly.

They go off when you sweep too.

Obviously, void flares aren't anything like being voided so lulz I guess.
What I meant was spend the money to increase your ability not to get hit instead of reactive accessories. Although, if you're using it for offensive purposes then I suppose you might have a need.
Does having a offensive flares decrease your chances to hit with CMans?

Nope, just spikes.

Even if I bought a 10x DB item I'd still be getting hit with 200+ end rolls while berserking.. I don't really mind getting hit that much.. but It would be nice if there was some automatic retribution associated with it. Also, flares are much cheaper than DB, and for some reason it never occurred to me until I saw drew buy those greaves that I should add some armor accessories for more offense.
Do you want to sell yours Ross, or were you just rubbing it in my face?

turns out my helmet is disintegration flares. I also have some arm greaves that are steam flares and spiked, if that would interest you.

Having something with only a ~20% chance to flare won't be much of a boon, I wouldn't think and certainly isn't automatic.
Although, insofar as survivability is concerned, you might consider getting warrior resistance of the pierce, slash, or crush variety.
This is with your BG Warrior?
Yeah, Brute is the only character I really play, aside from some spell slaves. I'm not that worried about survivability, I just want to "fuck shit up" more than i already do.
Actually, If I'm wearing HDP fullplate and flaring greaves, helm, and aventail... Does the padding still work in the accessory areas?

It will halve it if you wear accessories that "Do something". I have masterful crit padding so even halved I still have decent leg protection and I like it for sweeping.
