I was under the impression that was indeed the win condition, not just the unlocking each level (I destroyed every city too, so I'm not possitive).

I would have definitely done this in at least 15 fewer days, but for a while had a problem where I was double-clicking to use my second extra virus click (like you have to do when the level starts), and was doing it so fast I couldn't really tell I was actually using my second AND third. So I was getting pissed wondering why I spent that $100k, hah.

I'd like to try it again, but since it kept me from accomplishing most of the things I'd hoped to do today... gonna have to wait. And the best hero zombie is definitely the big dude, #3. Forget his name.

I stayed up way too late last night playing this. I think it was 172 days to raze the world. My finishing infection rate was something like 105%. Those poor crowded asian towns didn't stand a chance.

I would definatly like another run at it, now that I know what I'm doing so I don't waste a bunch of time in the beginning, but I'm in the same boat, have more important things to do. #3 was the tank, as in from L4D. He was easily the best for me, followed by MJ, MJ was great to use near the end of the game when I started steamrolling through towns, I would use him when the town was near dead so I had time to collect all the money.

I had a hard time telling if the stat they showed was what you were buying or what your stat was, I had mine showing "105", which I think was a 24 infection stat, I got Dmg Resistance or speed (I forget which) maxed to 25 and then it would show "--". Infection rate is definatly the stat to boost (not sure if > 100 does anything).

This game is worlds easier on a faster internet connection. I can easily do 155ish at home, but at work I was up to 180 days and not even close to finished. The zombies' timer seems set by your computer's clock, even if the animation is crawling, so they were all dying before they did anything useful.

Yeah, but the zombies have a lifetime stat, which is really just a number of seconds before they drop dead. On my sluggish work connection they were getting a few hits in before dying, but on my home broadband they were tearing the whole villages up with a much lower lifetime stat.

I doubt it's internet connection speed, more likely computer speed. My computer was struggling pretty hard at times. Pretty big fail on the developers to not properly disconnect the UI from the action if that's the case.

I also found that the time stat became really irrelevant later on, I left it something absurdly small for the majority of the game, as long as your infection rate and speed are high the actual lifespan of an individual zombie becomes pretty moot.

Here you go, another zombie flash game! (Not nearly as good, and when I beat it I thought "that's it? I thought they were building up to something"). Still a fun playthrough if you want to kill a bit of time.
