Friend of mine is an executive at DHS and told me they are on alert for a bomb threat in the Metro.
The NOC Senior Watch Officer received a report from TSA stating that at 1:55 today the FBI received a non-specific bomb threat concerning the Metro train system in Washington DC. Metro has increased law enforcement and k-9 presence on the Metro. We do not have any further information at this time.
Likely not a big deal, but if you're electing to ride Metro someplace this afternoon, you may want to wait till tomorrow.
