SIX pounds
You tap some viciously spiked armor that you are wearing.
>look at armor
The metal armor is adorned with an elegant set of burnished leather pauldrons. Emblazoned into the left pauldron is the crest of house Stonelord. The right pauldron is expertly tooled with a stylized image of a fierce dragon ready to strike. Built more for offense than defense, the armor is covered with row after row of vicious spikes; each arranged to make the wearer as deadly as they are safe.
Logs and such...
Reactive vibe hits:
A spectral triton defender thrusts with a lackluster blue steel harpoon at you!

... 30 points of damage!
Strong assault amputates the leg at the knee.
It floats in the air a moment before drifting back into place!
It is knocked to the ground!

... and hits for 1 point of damage!
Blow slides along your ribs.
Almost tickles.
** Your spiked armor releases a blast of vibrating energy at the triton combatant! **
... 10 points of damage!
Light blow to back
And the oh so fun, double flare:
You charge towards a triton combatant and attempt to headbutt him!
You slam your head into a triton combatant!
... 5 points of damage!
Blow to the head causes the triton combatant's ears to ring!
** A spike on your spiked armor jabs into the triton combatant! **
... 5 points of damage!
Glancing strike to the head!
** Your spiked armor releases a blast of vibrating energy at the triton combatant! **
... 15 points of damage!
Nice blow to right arm!

Brute you might want to check on the weight of that plate. Please reference this rep I just got:
Six Pound Full Plate 03-29-2010 03:14 PM God, you are so fucking retarded. It's full plate, it obviously weighs 92 pounds. Ignore the fact that he says it's 6 pounds, that's a lie. COULD YOU BE ANY STUPIDERERER!? ~Nachos

What's this made out of anyways? Should be carbon fiber or something..
Six Pound Full Plate 03-29-2010 03:09 PM you know, it's bad enough that you have to spend so much on your warrior to not be complete fail- but you might actually cross the line to decent if you didn't pay 2-3x the value for everything you do end up buying
:(
Another odd duck
03-29-2010, 07:06 PM
But what do Spanky and Alfalfa have to say about it? I'll reserve judgment untill I hear from them.
Grim Reaper
03-29-2010, 07:09 PM
Kind of pathetic the way people toss around negative rep. The way I see it, it's his warrior and his silver to spend how he chooses. Seriously, there has to be another way for you bored people to spend your time other then flaming each other left and right over beliefs.

So that armor's only worth 27-40m? Please. I'd have been asking 100m.

>inspect armor
Your careful inspection of some viciously spiked armor allows you to conclude that it is plate armor that covers the torso, arms, legs, neck, and head. You also notice that it is spiked.
You determine that you could wear the armor around your chest. The armor appears to serve some purpose.
It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of vultite.
>assess armor
You assess the armor for structural weaknesses and strengths.
Careful examination indicates the spiked armor has a base strength of 69 and a base durability of 665. You also determine the current integrity of the spiked armor to be at 100.0%.
You notice that custom fittings have been added to the armor, making it incredibly resistant to puncturing attacks. You estimate that the fittings will degrade away after eighty to ninty strikes.
I buy gear because I can. My gnome warrior would kick just as much ass in some 4x 38 pound plate. Well maybe not just as much, but it's not like this game is difficult.. I just buy shit for fun mostly.

2 questions. 1st, can crit padding be added to this plate? 2nd, when's the 606 dagger going for sale?
I imagine you'd have to find a talented merchant to remove the flares, then you could add padding.
Drunken Durfin
03-29-2010, 07:36 PM
1. Yes, if you remove the impact flares. But only an insane person would do that.
2. After my 10x tower shield and a couple of other items.

I'm assuming you can add padding to it but I'm not familiar with the padding rules and before I make a bid I'd like to know

I hope you find someone who can do such.
Edited because I'm not going to be a negative nancy about someone else's items. Durfin rocks, you should buy this armor.

Is the armor bugged?
I don't think it's "bugged" but there have been lots of "adjusting" stories going around lately..

Rep I recieved.
< So basically, you're saying it's a piece of shit- or else you wouldn't have the "edited because" line. Y SO SNEKY >
Someone responded to my post, and deleting it would be a douche move. Six pound fullplate is absolutely incredible, and the seller, Durfin, is a good guy who I've done business with. If you wear platemail, you would be insane to ignore this set of armor.
Actually, Id think this plate was lightened before rules were implemented maybe?
Kitsun

I'm fairly certain it started out as auction armor. It belonged to Washee at 6lbs, SCP. I bought it and had the padding ripped off to work on it. Durfin put more work into it.
