an opal-inset mithril alloy circlet

Inspect

You carefully inspect your mithril alloy circlet.

You determine that you could wear the circlet on your head. The circlet appears to serve some purpose.

"Value" Loresong

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the mithril alloy circlet in your hand, and you learn something about it...

This is a small item, under a pound. In your best estimation, it's worth about 37,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the mithril alloy circlet.

"Purpose" Loresong

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the mithril alloy circlet in your hand, and you learn something about it...

You sense a faint aura of magic around the mithril alloy circlet. You also feel a faint drawing sensation from it, as though when its charge is depleted, it may be refilled. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the circlet is to cast a spell or perform some magical purpose.

"Magic" Loresong

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the mithril alloy circlet in your hand...

This is a magical item, which casts spells from the Elemental sphere. It has a few charges.

"Special Ability" Loresong

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the mithril alloy circlet in your hand...

The mithril alloy circlet contains the spell Elemental Bias, from the Major Elemental circle.

You sense that the mithril alloy circlet will persist after its last magical charge has been expended.

So, any idea as to what this would be worth on the market? That is one of the "rechargeable" messages, not a "re-imbed-able," correct?

Any idea on the value? Anyone?

I kind of have a similar question--isn't any rechargable item from a 400, 500 or 900 circle just ultimately easier for a mage to IMBED instead of recharge? Say you had an unlimited supply of ranger rods, it's easier to just hand a few over and get the imbed right?

It's going to be easier to recharge those circles just as well though.

But doesn't recharging require an orb gem and a potion?

Yes but imbeding will gain you few charges and charging will yeild 40 charges into the item if done properly.

I'd put this up in the auction folder for a MB of 50-100k myself
