Heard one Sylvan telling another not to give up on love after this girlfriend left him. How love is great and whatnot. I chimed in and told him it's a waste of time and to concentrate on power and silver. I then gestured to two people being all kissy-feely in public and said, "See? Think they'll ever accomplish anything worthwhile in life? Doubtful. They're too busy making out."

Then i got this.....

(OOC) Someone's player whispers, "Eof met 13 years ago here and have been married for 9, so you really have no clue as to how to keep anything."

Someone glares at you.

....then she left.

what the hell?? do people not know how to roleplay anymore?????????????

There are a lot of dumb people, especially when it comes to "love" in this game. A lot of times they forget that it's a game.

When I role play on the side from my obvious hunting addiction nothing says turd in my milk more than a whisper. I don't mind the hey I'm AFK walking the dog thing it was when someone tries to explain to me what their rolepay means...

that. what it was is a nerd that found love in a video game had their feelings hurt by their own inability to seperate fantasy roleplay from their own pathetic life. It was good roleplay.
