This isn't really asking which is better in terms of lore, but rather, the necessity of lore training.

Is there any reason for me to go more than 1x in lore at a cost of 0/12? (I'm thinking no). That being said, what're the generally looked at targets for these lores? 50 each? Which spells do they affect?

Right now, I'm thinking of running up Demon Summoning 50 ranks, then Necrology, but I think my sorcerer will be more of a Necromancer than a Demon Summoner. That's an RP choice though.

As I think of it, I think .5x of each will be good.

Yea that will do just fine. 50 ranks in Demon will make it so you can't fail with a valence (sp?) specific runestone, while 100 ranks are needed to not fail with demon specific. No one has any kind of idea what Animate dead or Major summoning are going to need though

And if I'm completely not interested in Demon Summoning?

It helps with DC, but to what effect?

Demon still effects the attack effect of CoS, as well as makes torment more effective.

Necro effects 701, 705, 708, and a few other spells (nightmare..umm..Disease..)
