Unless you are well to do in college (ie-Mom and Dad are paying your way) your meal selections should include only the following:

Ramen Noodles - Beef flavor
Did I mention Ramen Noodles?
Ramen Noodles - Chicken flavor
Ramen Noodles - Seafood flavor
Don't forget about Ramen Noodles.
Ramen Noodles - Pork flavor

Ramen, mac&cheese, and 99 cent pizzas are a student's best friends.

I've yet to eat a single solitary pack of Ramen since leaving school.... can't do it.

"Mommy and daddy" are paying exactly $0 for my college education.

I don't touch Ramen, that shit is nasty. It's either Shin Cups, or these.

I've learned that it's a lot cheaper in the long run to go to the grocery store and buy $100 worth of food than buying fast food and pizza for every meal.

Ramen Noodles & Short Cuts (basically already chopped up little pieces of chicken). Mix em together and Blam! Instant Meal.

I'm going to have to agree with the grocery store idea. Obviously this only works if you have like a fridge to store it all in. And ramen has like 5 more flavors like tomato, creamy chicken and a few others. Unfortunately a good portion of them (tomato) tastes like total shit.

And in HS over summer break my best friend and I created 7 different ways of eating them...

Add meat or veggies

Drain all water out and then add seasonings-if you like your stuff potent

Add soy sauce-highly recommended

Add garlic-also highly recommended

I don't remember others. But just from that you can almsot have a different meal each day at the cost of like what...$1.50?

Another meal you could consider is the lipton posta sides package + a can of tuna (or some other kind of meat) not as cheap as ramen, but still less than $2 for a meal, and you can cook it in the microwave in about 13 minutes.

Depending on where you are, Taco Bell crunchy tacos are 79 cents a piece. Quality.

Screw the microwaving.

Just get tuna in a pouch and eat. Runs about $1.79, and will more than fill you up.

I'm required to have a meal plan since I live on campus. I get 5 meals at the buffet a week and $500 in "flexcash" that I can spend at the pub (but not on beer although its $1 drafts all the time so its not a big deal) or the caf when its not buffet hours. That $500 rollsover from fall to spring. So now i have $491 to spend by basically the beginning of May.
