Reputation Tip of the Day

Maybe people already know this but, if you receive a rep comment that includes a picture that you might find offensive or just annoying you can remove the picture by deleting the post that was repped. This will not affect your total reputation points however, so too bad there.

Also useful for removing the particularly virulent, hate-filled messages that some people enjoy sending.

I stayed at 1337 post count for a while by deleting posts. This was a real sacrifice too since every word from me is a pearl of wisdom. That's right...a god damn motherfucking PEARL and don't forget it.

I'm curious if Kranar will selectively look at rep comments. For instance, if some e-thug decides to repeatedly penis rep until someone reports it, but that person also has comments from other people with giant tits, will Kranar be obligated to drop the hammer on the booby repper as well, even though no complaint was made?

I wouldn't think so, since only Kranar and the complainee would know, and Kranar doesn't seem to be that type, but I still wonder.

If you have adblock on firefox you can also just block the particular image. I've killed all the big rep images with that and that's how I block Drew2's homo avatars.

You can report reputation comments. If someone is sending you obscene pictures using the reputation system that would be in violation if they were posted on the forums, you can report those and have them treated as if they were posted on the general forums.

If you don't report it though, then I have no reason to do anything about it.
