I'm honored to be someone's signiture though. Kaelowyn is Pagelinn's sister in law, and they have this ongoing joke that they're interested in each other to rile up Alarke.

Any sexual comment Page makes is always in jest. Especially if she's in public. I'm sorry if she offended the "WTF is GS coming to" poster. However, that's her personality, she's playful. And if she can't jest in a game, what IS gemstone coming to ;-)

However, I'm glad the comment stood out. I thought it only perked Kithus' ears. Heh. I thought it was rather witty, and well, Pagelinn isn't usually witty. :-D

GS has been a huge AOL chatroom since it moved to AOL...this is nothing new. It is why so many old timers quit within a year of the AOL move.

I could care less about innuendos, vulgarity, pornography or anything else "offensive" to most. However, it has no place in public in GS3.

How does Innuendo if its IC (like that above) not belong in public in gs. Are you implying that there was no vulgar people in the timeframe that GS is based on?

Yes dear, I admit sometime people do go a little too much ooc for my liking. For example, lovely Victorae, uhm, basically told the landing his email on the net. Then someone else chimed in. "Oh no, it's an email. Everyone start with the ooc blah blah"..

That's uneccessary. If we want your email, we're prolly have your im, so don't try to pretend you're cool and people actually want to contact you from the game. Heheheh. Even if you are cool. Which, most likely, if you do that you're not cool.


But, I must remind people that Gemstone is a game. You pay for it, you're "free" to enjoy it. I think the sexual comments are fine as long as they don't get vulgar or very descriptive outside of a whisper or a private room. I hardly find an icemule comment about incest vulgar or out of line, or in anyway meant to mean I really want to sleep with Karly ooc.

If people quit because of something like that, so be it. There are plenty of games out there they can play "just as fun as gemstone"

Now again, I could be defensive because Pagelinn was singled out, but I've been on the outsider's pov and have yet to be offended.

Now I understand there are people under the age of 18 rping. I was that rper once. And if you think you wouldn't say it if you weren't in a private room, then don't say it. But some things are ridiculous to get your panties in a knot over.

Someone attacked Pagelinn during a Spitfire alter because she called Jesae a harlot. Jesae and her joke all the time, harlot would be like me irl calling my good friend a slut.

Infact, its appropriate for the rp of the game, as far as lingo goes, to use harlot.

I mean honestly people. Do you need to gripe about every silly joke made in the game? If I'm harrassing you, that's one thing. If I turn around and said, without knowing you:

Then get angry, smite me, what have you. But I know my boundaries, and most likely, you'll know when I intend to offend you, as most would be sure to clarify. Other than that.
