I found another area for hunting in the ducts in the top northwest section, where the observatory is. It is not mapped so I'm not sure if anyone else has been there or not. It has lesser constructs in it as well as the usual beings, gremlocks and taints, whereas normally in that area where the Forgotten Pool is, there are no constructs. It is northeast once you climb down the hole.
[Aqueduct]
The tunnel moves off to the southwest, the shallow, green water casting an uneven emerald glow on the walls as the water's peace is disturbed by sloshing feet. Solid granite walls prevent movement in all other directions. A pile of rubble in the center of the tunnel indicates that there may once have been a hole above to allow water to be drawn from the aqueduct. It is too dark, though, to see if such a hole exists anymore. Strangely out of place, a misshapen panel is set into the northeast wall.
Obvious exits: southwest
go panel
[Cavern Home, Outlet]
Granite forms the walls, floor and ceiling of this small room, but the granite has been sculpted so that there are no flat surfaces or right angles in any of it. A gelatinous trail creeps along the ceiling from the northeast, stopping just short of the misshapen panel on the southwest wall, and bursts of energy travel up and down the trail, crackling loudly and casting an electric blue glow around the room.
Obvious exits: northeast

It looks like a maze once you go northeast...but it isn't hard to find your way back to the outlet.

That is pretty damn cool. I hunted there forever and never noticed that.

Cool. I remember GMs telling me that there are plenty of unmapped places still in GS, grats on finding one!

I definitely never would have found it since I hunted with room descriptions off.

There's a few other nifty areas not mapped in the old town also, but I'm not gonna play spoiler. It's much more fun to hunt it down and find it yourself.

maybe all those unmapped places are where all the REAL GEMS are hiding

I've gone in there before.

Rogane told me about it.

Yeah the constructs swarm like crazy in there. I played around in there for a while when you could still crit kill them. The layout is slightly confusing if I remember correctly (loops and maybe duplicate room descs), but I think may just have been because I didn't have a map to reference.

Also if you die in there good luck getting rescued.

I actually took you in there about 3 weeks ago, Varucca. That is where we went hunting and had to leave because there were so many boxes. Anyways, I don't want to give the secrets away about that place, because it is amazingly rich.

Yeah I remember you took me around to alot of spots, and of course, just like when I'm in the passenger's seat...I don't pay attention. ;)

I just wanted to point it out because of the fact that I run around that area all the time and just now noticed it...and figured if people want to hunt lesser constructs in that area it would be a great spot. BigWorm was right about the construct swarms in there too...I ran through a room of about eight. The area isn't too confusing once you run around it a bit...there are certain key rooms that you keep going back to, and basically it's either sw/ne or se/nw. It is very rich in there because nobody hunts it...
