Putting this up here for trade offers.

a flawless black morning-star with three mithril-linked ball and chain, 9x perfect weighs 8, steel forge.

Looking for other nice ohb's in trade, can add coins if it's real nice.

Not interested in selling for coin unless your willing to overpay.

PM's prefered.

5 PM's asking for price in Coins. Since I'm not looking for coins I have no price on it. Feel free to make an offer if you want, I won't haggle, if it's too low which most likely it will be I won't sell.

Prefer trades since nice OHBs are hard to find.

I'm not really sure you are going to find anything better.

Blunts really are disproportionately represented given how good maces, morning stars and war hammers are. For most of the years where higher end services were more available, people did handaxes and falchions, or claids. Polearms and blunts were all but ignored and even reflected generally in merchant wares at the time.

Even after the rules drastically changed, really was no shift over, and they added weapon classes that don't have a lot of good items like brawling or new bases like estocs or katanas. Interesting that archery and thrown actually have more 'good' items, but seems those forms had a champion of the cause for more than a few years and festivals <coughmecough>

Best warhammer is the 10x permablessed returning one and I'm not selling it. I'd guess that's the best morning star, is one or two maces over 7x with hcw. I really cannot think of others.

Personally, I wouldn't sell it, but scheme to get the points to bring it to 10x, then add a common flare to it from points, or hope to win an uncommon flare at some merchant event.

Thanks Paul.

I figured as much, I know of one 4x VHCW Morning star, and there was that 8x hcw one that was on here not that long ago.

OHBs have been the black sheep of weapons for a long time, and I doubt that will ever change.

I probably will get this to 10x in a few months, time will tell, and if I can get the points sold to me also.

That's fucking nice... who made it? I might like that late this year when I get closer to cap and switch to TWC berserk mstrike craziness.

Colosie crafted it. Forget the Bardsong for the enchanter.

I bought that morningstar when it was 4X for 2 mil. Enchanted it up to 7X and altered then sold it because none of my guys where using blunts at the time. The star prob went to 8X durring CCF.

There is a 4x morning star with an unknown amount of weighting. That is that it is unassessable. Supposedly it has 50+, who knows. The person who owns it is scared to get it check out for fear of the nerf bat, so I guess you could consider it not even existing.

There used to be a wood star with supposed claid type weighting, course it was also -3x and Fumbles wouldnt enchant it, I have a couple of 8x perma stars and a 7x exc crit mace, clerics were the primary blunt users and almost all of them became runestaff users instead alot of the best blunts are in deep graves now

I'd swing blunts with my cleric again if I had any of those, Ardwen. Good gods.

Got a massive spiked morning star (mast crit weight) that's kinda fun, no enchants on it though...
