Armor and Dodge

So, I know armor add DS as well as Dodge ranks but the question has arisen several times in my mind.

Do the two effect each other in a HUGE way? Example, will wearing plate make a rogue dodge less then wearing full leathers?

Armor ranks do not add DS and yes, armor will lower your DS.

The penalty to BASE dodge (agility + intution/4 + dodge ranks) is half the maneuver penalty.
